Cubic, Inc. is looking for a positive, professional account manager with agency experience. The Account Manager is the liaison to the client, responsible for supervising and managing the account team and their resources. Specifically, you must be an assertive, self-starter who is able to handle multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. The position requires you to maintain relationships and favorable contact with current and potential advertising accounts, and to manage, coordinate, and ensure the timely flow of all projects from conception through release. The Account Manager is central to the development of the on-going business.


  • Advising the client, implementing specific marketing efforts of the client, developing strategies and goals, and developing and executing programs designed by the agency
  • Maintaining a long-range view of client accounts while planning activities up to a year out
  • Maintaining daily contact with the client, keeping them informed of agency/project status and managing client expectations
  • Establishing, maintaining, and expanding the client/agency relationship keeping an eye out for future business opportunities and strategic account growth
  • Ensuring all agency work is on strategy and correct
  • Identifying and resolving problems early
  • Ensuring clients and team members stay within the scope
  • Periodically reviewing clients’ business with a view towards identifying business needs
  • Developing and updating project schedules and monitoring daily progress
  • Informing team members of any alterations to the original strategy and any changes to the project
  • Overseeing client budgets and billing, as well as preparing estimates
  • Preparing internal agency briefs and briefing all team members on the specifics of a job
  • Managing projects via our online project management system
  • Assisting the finance team in month-end invoicing and reconciliation
  • Maintaining current knowledge of marketing strategies and each client’s business and products
  • Vendor research and quotes, as necessary
  • Client research & industry research, as necessary


  • 3+ years' experience in an advertising agency
  • Passion for providing outstanding account service

  • Ability to lead teams, as well as perform well individually
  • Base knowledge of accounting/finance
